About The Position

Maitland Animal Hospital and Corrine Drive Animal Hospital are seeking a full-time veterinarian to split time between the two sister hospitals in the Orlando area. The role offers a varied caseload involving wellness care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, allergy and dermatology, laser therapy, and urgent and emergency care. Both hospitals treat dogs and cats and are part of OrlandoVets, a group of four hospitals that has cared for pets in Central Florida for more than 20 years. The veterinarian will work with teams at both locations and collaborate with six experienced colleagues across the hospitals. The hospitals describe their environment as collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to develop interests across the services offered. Schedules run on weekdays with rotating Saturdays; Sundays are closed, and the hospitals will work with the veterinarian to build a schedule that fits their life. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in Florida, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Provide veterinary care for dogs and cats across two hospitals: Maitland Animal Hospital and Corrine Drive Animal Hospital.
Provide care across wellness, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, allergy and dermatology, laser therapy, and urgent and emergency services.
Collaborate with colleagues and teams at both hospitals.
