About The Position

San Juan Veterinary Hospital, a mixed animal practice in southwest Colorado, has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinarian to join our team! We take a family-focused approach to pet care and are searching for a DVM who is friendly, empathetic, and will take the time to get to know our clients (and their pets!) on a personal level. We’re open to DVMs of all experience levels. Our practice is a full-service, mixed animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We prioritize work/life balance by remaining flexible with our scheduling to accommodate vacations, important events, and life outside of work. Our team has great longevity and has built a positive culture full of fun and laughter. Our two-doctor team has built solid relationships with the community and have a great reputation. Our caseload is diverse because we offer high-quality care to a variety of pets (primarily canines, felines, and horses) but we also see goats, llamas, reptiles, pocket pets, and birds occasionally. We’ve created a family-friendly, calm, and comfortable atmosphere where clients are given personalized attention and truly trust us to treat their pets.
