About The Position

Madera Veterinary Center in Madera, CA is a full-service, community-focused animal hospital seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian to join their growing team. They have an in-house “Angel Fund” to assist pets in need of care when owners cannot afford it or when pets are relinquished. The modern, well-equipped hospital includes digital X-rays, a surgical suite, dental suite, ultrasound, full in-house lab, in-house pharmacy, boarding, isolation ward, ECG, blood pressure monitor, and pulse oximeter. Requirements

• Veterinarian license.
• Ability to practice high-quality medicine.

Responsibilities

• Practice high-quality medicine with confidence.
• Provide care for dogs, cats, and occasional pocket pets.
• Collaborate with a team including RVTs, CVAs, and support staff.
• Utilize in-house digital X-rays and digital dental X-rays.
• Perform procedures in the surgical suite and dedicated dental suite.
• Utilize ultrasound for diagnostics.
• Conduct lab work using the full in-house IDEXX lab.
• Manage in-house pharmacy.
• Provide care for boarding animals and those in the isolation ward.
• Utilize ECG, blood pressure monitor, and pulse oximeter.
• Participate in structured onboarding and mentorship (for new graduates).
• Engage in 1:1 surgical training, longer appointment times, and additional surgical opportunities (for new graduates).
• Participate in ongoing development through Zoom calls, roundtable discussions, peer advisors, Slack case discussions, and networking.
