Central Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our award-winning, AAHA-accredited team in beautiful downtown Petaluma, CA. Requirements
- Full-time Associate Veterinarian position.
- Must be a licensed veterinarian.
- Experience with ultrasound capabilities (full abdominal and cardiac).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with orthopedic procedures.
- Interest in expanding services like laser therapy.
- Willingness to see pocket pets.
Responsibilities
- Consult on cases and surgeries with other veterinarians.
- Participate in monthly doctor meetings to review cases, discuss standards of care, and introduce new medications/protocols.
- Focus on doctor-level responsibilities with significant emphasis on staff training and efficiency.
- Perform full abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds.
- Partner with Summit Surgery for in-hospital orthopedic procedures.
- Consider expanding services/equipment based on doctor interests (laser therapy, etc.).
- See 100% small animal patients, primarily dogs and cats; open to seeing pocket pets if desired.

- Prosal compensation model with a base salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 (DOE)
