About The Position
Commencement Bay Animal Hospital is hiring a general-practice-focused Veterinarian to lead the GP side of its practice and partner with Chief of Staff Dr. Melissa Moss-Horton, who oversees urgent care. The role covers wellness, surgery, and dentistry cases, from puppy and kitten visits through senior pet care, in collaboration with a supportive team of LVTs, assistants, and practice leadership. The hospital is fully equipped with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, as well as a spacious, organized treatment area. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Friday, with Friday staffed by one doctor, one procedure day combining dentistry and surgery, and three appointment days. Morning procedures with afternoon appointments are possible. The practice is also open to a three-day schedule, Tuesday through Thursday. There are no weekends, late hours, or on-call shifts.

- Base salary of $140,000–$150,000, depending on schedule and experience.
