About The Position

Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care in Portland, Maine is seeking a dedicated residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Radiologist. PVESC has served the community for over 30 years and is located in a highly desirable area known for its work-life balance and family-friendly environment. The role involves working alongside experienced professionals, utilizing advanced diagnostic modalities such as MRI, 64-slice GE CT, 5 ultrasounds, and two dedicated radiology suites. The department is supported by an educated and highly trained staff, including dedicated LVT and TA support for radiologists. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new, cutting-edge 42,000 sq ft hospital opening in 2026, working with advanced technology and a talented team to advance veterinary medicine.

Requirements

Residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Radiologist.
Skilled in utilizing diagnostic modalities including MRI, 64-slice GE CT, ultrasounds, and radiology suites.
Compassionate and skilled veterinarian.
