OrthoArkansas is seeking a full-time, employed Radiologist to join its existing radiology team. The role offers the opportunity to develop musculoskeletal subspecialty expertise and participate in a collaborative clinical practice alongside orthopedic surgeons, non-operative physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. The case mix is primarily musculoskeletal and spine MRI, with opportunities to read CT scans and radiographs. Depending on the case mix, average daily workload is 70–75 wRVUs. Because the practice provides specialty orthopedic care to patients traveling from across Arkansas, many examinations need expedited turnaround to support same-day clinic appointments. The radiologist will work with technologists to optimize protocols, assist with MRI safety, attend intermittent clinical conferences, and advise the practice on development of its musculoskeletal radiology service line. Imaging is performed on 1.5T magnets and read using the Intelerad PACS platform and MModal voice recognition. An in-house IT team supports the radiologist and the orthopedic practice. The position is remote, with a provided home workstation. Work hours are during daytime orthopedic clinic hours in the Central time zone. There are no nights, weekends, call, or worked holidays.
