About The Position

OrthoArkansas is hiring a full-time employed Radiologist, with a musculoskeletal focus, to join its radiology team at a physician-owned orthopedic practice. The role offers the opportunity to develop subspecialty expertise and work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, non-operative physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. The case mix is primarily musculoskeletal and spine MRI, with opportunities to interpret CT scans and radiographs. Average daily work is 70–75 wRVUs, depending on case mix. The radiologist will support specialty orthopedic care for patients traveling from across Arkansas. Many exams require expedited turnaround to support same-day clinic appointments. The radiology team works with technologists to optimize protocols, assists with MRI safety, attends intermittent clinical conferences, and advises on growth of the musculoskeletal radiology service line. MRIs are performed on 1.5T magnets and interpreted using the Intelerad PACS platform with MModal voice recognition. An in-house IT team supports the radiologist and practice. The position is work from home, with a provided home workstation. Work hours align with daytime orthopedic clinic hours in Central time. There are no nights, weekends, call, or worked holidays. OrthoArkansas is a physician-owned, multispecialty orthopedic practice with more than 30 orthopedic surgeons, six pain management physicians, and physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
