About The Position
Kersting Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director with experience in exotic medicine, ideally avian specific. This role offers ownership/equity options through a unique no upfront cost program, emphasizing medical autonomy. The practice is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced, multi-doctor hospital in Chesterfield, MO, specializing in small animal, avian, and small mammal care. They provide comprehensive services including preventive care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology (full body and dental), and vacation boarding. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
- Active Veterinary State License.
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.
- Experience in exotics (avian experience preferred).
- Proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
- Strong leadership skills and desire to mentor and lead a team.
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator.

- Avian specific experience preferred.
