About The Position

CANOBIE LAKE VETERINARY HOSPITAL in Windham, New Hampshire, is seeking an exceptional diagnostician, a natural mentor, and a veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role. Requirements

7+ years clinical experience.
Exceptional diagnostician.
Comfortable with emergency medicine.
Natural mentor.
Exceptional client communicator.
Operational mindset.
DVM/VMD from an accredited institution.
NH veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain).
Live in New Hampshire.

Nice To Haves

Surgery experience welcome, not required.
Avian/exotic experience a plus.
DEA license & USDA accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

See appointments three days per week.
Perform surgery and dentals.
Practice at the top of your license.
Mentor newer veterinarians one day per week.
Lead weekly two-hour hospital rounds.
Foster collaboration across Customer Experience (CET), Technicians (TT), and Veterinary Assistants (VA) teams.
Lead hospital rounds and training.
