About The Position
Animal Emergency Hospital is a fast-paced emergency and triage practice providing critical care and life-saving treatment to our surrounding communities. The clinic is an emergency and triage practice with a high-acuity emergency and urgent care case volume. The practice utilizes IDEXX digital radiology & reference laboratory, IDEXX in-house lab equipment, Heska Blood Gas Analyzer, Butterfly and SonoScape ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, a surgical ventilator, and warming systems. They also have electronic medical records, an isolation ward, a full surgical suite, and two Snyder oxygen units. The team culture is described as high-acuity and team-oriented, with experienced, cross-trained staff who support each other.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care and life-saving treatment.
- Practice high-level emergency medicine.
- Perform urgent care, emergency medicine, trauma, critical care, and surgery.
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of medical systems and team.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced, cross-trained staff.
- Educate clients.
