About The Position
A veterinary hospital is seeking an Emergency Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join its fast-paced, collaborative team. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in North Carolina.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical and surgical care for small animal patients
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Coordinate with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care
