Clinic Snapshot Practice type: Emergency / Triage Avg. daily patient volume: High-acuity emergency and urgent care cases Support staff ratio: Excellent — 7 experienced LVTs plus skilled CSRs Case mix: Urgent care, emergency medicine, trauma, critical care, and surgery Technology & equipment: IDEXX digital radiology & reference laboratory, IDEXX in-house lab (ProCyte, SediVue, Catalyst, Coag), Heska Blood Gas Analyzer, Butterfly and SonoScape ultrasound, Multi-parameter monitors, Surgical ventilator, Hot Dog and Bair Hugger/Bed Jet warming systems, Electronic medical records, Isolation ward, Full surgical suite, Two Snyder oxygen units Team culture: High-acuity, team-oriented environment with experienced, cross-trained staff who support one another and take pride in the care they deliver.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
Responsibilities
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of our medical systems and team.
- Provide critical care and life-saving treatment.
- Handle urgent care, emergency medicine, trauma, critical care, and surgery cases.
