About The Position

Blue United Sourcing is seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians to join growing Emergency Veterinarian Care Centers throughout Michigan. This opportunity is well-suited for experienced veterinarians who thrive in emergency medicine, enjoy managing complex cases, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to pets when they need it most.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure) in the state of employment.
2-3 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in emergency medicine, urgent care, or a high-volume general practice setting.
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating emergency and urgent care cases.
Stabilizing and managing critically ill or injured patients.
Performing emergency procedures and surgeries as needed.
Interpreting diagnostic tests including laboratory work, radiographs, ultrasound findings, and other diagnostic imaging.
Developing treatment plans and providing recommendations for ongoing care.
Communicating effectively and compassionately with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.
Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols, medical standards, and patient safety procedures.
