About The Position
Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) in Portland, Maine is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their exceptional team. For over 30 years, PVESC has been dedicated to providing advanced emergency and specialty care to pets and their families throughout Maine. As the only independently owned and operated specialty and emergency hospital in the state, PVESC fosters a culture centered on teamwork, innovation, and compassionate patient care. The role involves working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team to provide exceptional care for emergency and critical care patients. The veterinarian will manage a diverse and challenging caseload with access to advanced technology, experienced support staff, and specialty colleagues. The position also offers the opportunity to be part of the transition into a new 42,000 sq ft hospital opening in late 2026.
Requirements
- Compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian.
- Licensed veterinarian.
- Passion for emergency medicine.
