About The Position

Support GP Veterinarian providing vet exams, diagnostics, and prescriptions/refills. Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their pets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet customers as they enter the clinic. Answer phones as needed as back up to the call center staff. Book appointments. Print admission forms and answer questions about services and pricing. Fill prescriptions. Perform adoptions on cat/kittens in lobby. Clean cat cages in lobby. Keep lobby clean at all times. Keep storage closet organized. Draw blood, administer fluids, give injections of all types, look at specimens under microscope. Monitor equipment and report problems to the Executive Director as they are detected Laundry Mopping Maintain proper stock of supplies in all areas of the clinic Perform other duties as assigned Salary dependent on experience and license status

Requirements

Basic Computer Skills
Intermediate mathematical skills
Advanced organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Customer Service Experience
Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as required
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
