About The Position

MarketStar currently has an opening for a Vertical Sales Specialist with our growing team. This role will be part of the B2B Mobility business. As a Vertical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for vertical account management as it pertains to the corresponding vertical team. You will also understand and promote the vision, goals, and strategies for the Samsung Mobility product line, acting as a subject matter expert across various sales motions in the B2B and Value Added Reseller space.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in B2B or IT Channel management preferred, or other IT Sales related positions (Sales representative at a carrier, reseller, marketing, etc…)
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of the IT Mobility business with ability to communicate key selling features and benefits with key decision makers
  • Ability to achieve success in a quota-driven, client-focused team sales environment
  • Communicate effectively, written and verbally, with accounts, customers, and management
  • Solid understanding of the IT Distribution Channel and the ability to learn quickly

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal vertical teams to align strategy and focus
  • Manage key accounts within their assigned verticals to create sales opportunities and provide account support as needed with both end users and resellers
  • Work with client reps to support sales efforts and drive incremental revenue
  • Serve as product and service advocate for the client building interest and awareness of client’s value proposition
  • Engage and grow existing relationships through sale support and enablement
  • Assist client engineers with Proof-of-Concept conversations
  • Consistently help client reps build and manage a sales pipeline through CRM utilization
  • Ensure all business processes and policies in support of client reps are followed with precision, including but not limited to systems use, sales methodology, communication standards, etc.
  • Execute daily outbound phone calls/emails, contact decision-makers, build quick rapport, assess needs and assist in closing sales
  • Execute direct sales outreach to small accounts via cold or warm calling strategies.
  • Participate in B2B trade shows as required
