About The Position

Crestron is seeking a Vertical Market Manager to join their Sales team in the Northwest, specifically focusing on the San Francisco Bay Area. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with Northern California Enterprise accounts to drive sales growth within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is an AV sales professional residing in Northern California. Responsibilities include selling Crestron solutions to end-user communities, primarily Enterprise customers, and ensuring Crestron is the preferred solution for AV and/or UC solutions in specifications and RFPs. The position requires engaging with executive-level decision-makers and engineers, delivering product presentations, technical trainings, and product demos. The Vertical Market Manager will serve as the main point of contact for Crestron-related matters for their customers and is expected to collaborate effectively with internal teams to support customers and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven track record of sales experience selling to Enterprise, SLED, and/or Higher Education customers with the Northern California.
  • Previous experience documenting sales activity & funnel in CRM; Salesforce preferred.
  • Willing and able to develop a working knowledge of Crestron's products and software will be important as you will be demonstrating our products to potential clients.
  • Knowledge of procurement and budgeting processes, procurement policies, IT procurement requirements, and facilities management within a large organization.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate successfully with colleagues to achieve goals.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% - Must have valid U.S. Drivers' license with the ability to drive in every state of your territory; and be able to travel up to 60% (by either car, airplane, or train).
  • Candidate must live within the Bay Area/Northern California sales territory.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years Audio Visual and/or Unified Communications/Conferencing solutions experience in a technical capacity - preferred.
  • Bachelors' Degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities, and drive these opportunities back to the channel team to help convert opportunity into revenue.
  • Hunt for new customers in the region, while fostering and developing business within our existing customer catalogs.
  • Properly document opportunities and customer data into Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage an accurate and robust sales funnel within CRM.
  • Develop an executive annual plan for new business development and growth of existing accounts in line with the company strategy.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, trainings, and other educational opportunities for their customers.
  • Train end users and Consultants on Crestron product road maps and technology products that will advance the development of market solutions.
  • Develop accounts and sell project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions.
