About The Position

Twining Consulting, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company is seeking an Inspector to work based out of our Concord office. Candidate must be self-starting, be proactive, focus and detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

ICC Pre Stress/Post Tension is.
ICC Reinforced Concrete License.
ICC Structural Masonry License.
ACI Field Technician Grade 1 License.
ACI Post Installed Anchors is a plus.
ICC Soils Inspector License.
ICC Structural Steel Welding and Bolting License.
ICC Spray-applied Fireproofing License.
Nuclear gauge usage certification.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector License.
ICC Commercial/Residential Building Inspector.

Responsibilities

Provide structural inspections of reinforced concrete; structural steel welding and bolting, structural masonry; spray-applied fireproofing.
Provide grading observations; compaction testing on soils, aggregates, and asphalt.
Document project grading activities.
Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete, rebar, shotcrete; mortar and/or grout.
Report preparation of special inspections per CBC and in accordance with approved project documents.
Provide as needed support to the Project Manager to ensure the approved testing program is fulfil based on the construction schedule and sequencing pertaining to this work.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports, laboratory testing reports and related project documents (including but not limited to responses to RFI, test results from materials and certification of materials; amended documents, deferred approvals, welding procedures; approved concrete mix designs, etc.).
