About The Position

The Venue Food Runner delivers food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables rapidly and accurately, serving as a point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. The role provides guest service, assists kitchen and service staff, keeps the kitchen area and assigned stations stocked and clean, and maintains safe and sanitary kitchen areas. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management.

Requirements

• Have a County of San Diego Food Handler Card.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Interact effectively with team members.
• Stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time.
• Appear for work on time.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain professionalism and composure.
• Understand verbal directives and written instructions.
• Accept constructive criticism.
• Carry large serving trays and tray jacks.
• Routinely lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Work in a smoking environment.
• Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
