About The Position

The Vendor Manager oversees approved vendor partnerships, supports the Fleet Operations team and branch locations, and performs administrative work that enhances the Fleet Procurement function. The role ensures vendors comply with contractual agreements and identifies opportunities to optimize vendor relationships and results. The Vendor Manager works closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and branches to maintain strong relationships and promote operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in fleet purchasing, vendor management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in supply chain management and logistics.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
• Strong organizational skills; highly detail-oriented and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships in support of business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and manage vendor performance scorecards to ensure compliance with service standards.
• Advocate for Sunstate in resolving vendor-related issues.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to deliver maximum value to the organization.
• Communicate regularly with vendors and branches to support timely delivery and product quality.
• Design and execute onboarding processes for new vendors and product launches to ensure seamless integration.
