About The Position

The Vendor Manager oversees approved vendor partnerships, supports the Fleet Operations team and branch locations, and performs administrative work to enhance the Fleet Procurement function. The role ensures vendors comply with contractual agreements and optimizes vendor-related opportunities. It collaborates with vendors, internal stakeholders, and branches to maintain strong relationships and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of experience in fleet purchasing, vendor management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in supply chain management and logistics.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
Strong organizational skills and a highly detail-oriented, data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships that support business objectives.
Develop, implement, and manage vendor performance scorecards to ensure compliance with service standards.
Advocate for Sunstate when resolving vendor-related issues.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to deliver maximum value to the organization.
Communicate regularly with vendors and branches to help ensure timely delivery and product quality.
Design and execute onboarding processes for new vendors and product launches to support seamless integration.
