About The Position

The Vendor Fitter at Roger Dunn Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the Sure No Problem philosophy. This role involves educating customers on golf products, making recommendations for the right golf clubs, and utilizing equipment like launch monitors and golf simulators to enhance the fitting process. The position also includes responsibilities related to merchandise management, maintaining sales floor standards, and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
• Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Nice To Haves

• Golf knowledge/background is required
• 1+ years of club fitting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements being flexible and knowledgeable able to work with specified vendors.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during the golf club fitting process.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
• Assist with vendor’s floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s and vendor’s standards.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
