About The Position

Geocomp, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Vendor Coordinator. This role will support vendor management activities, purchasing operations, and administrative processes while partnering closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and coordination skills

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the Purchasing Manager in qualifying and maintaining all current vendors
  • Qualify new vendors and manage annual vendor qualification renewals
  • Enter, update, and maintain vendor information and documentation within SAP
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of vendor performance ratings
  • Participate in quarterly vendor review meetings with division directors and update vendor ratings accordingly
  • Manage vendors related to corporate office supplies and shipping services
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendor account representatives regarding operational issues, contract updates, pricing changes, and service matters
  • Monitor purchasing budgets and track overall spend related to office supplies and shipping
