About The Position

This role focuses on the strategic leadership and relationship of TD SYNNEX vendors to achieve the best financial performance for assigned product lines. Oversees, identifies and understands vendor needs and strategic objectives. Manages the overall operational aspects of large vendors and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in using common office equipment.
  • Basic data entry, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and other relevant languages, including formal presentations.
  • Engages effectively with senior management, skilled negotiator.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities, initiative, and assertiveness.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, adaptable to change.
  • Upholds social, ethical, and organizational standards, maintains confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate effectively.
  • Comfortable with prolonged phone use and stationary or active work.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and technology, proficient in advanced computer systems and applications.
  • Flexible for occasional non-standard work hours or overtime in a remote/work-from-home office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and forecasting incremental funding proposals at the vendor level as well as meeting/exceeding monthly revenues, net gross margin percentages and gross margin dollars.
  • Utilizing financial data to provide strategic recommendations for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Managing vendor relationships at highest level and serving as the main point of contact for vendors, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Developing, monitoring and recommending plans for the vendor, TD SYNNEX business relationship on a tactical and strategic level.
  • Identifying and driving new vendor opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique vendor resource/capability along with a TD SYNNEX service/capability to create a unique value proposition.
  • Making recommendations to procurement and supply chain teams to implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Acting as the primary operational escalation point for vendor lines and proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges or bottlenecks.
  • Acting as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned vendor’s technology and programs.
  • Meeting and interacting regularly with executives to discuss product trends, performance, profitability and results of product line promotions.
  • Communicating vendor strategies, managing rebate programs, developing programs to support business unit direction, and collaborating with Marketing to drive demand.
  • Negotiating large-scale contracts, managing key vendor relationship at an executive level ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conducting quarterly vendor business reviews and participating in marketing events.
  • Providing sales support and proactively working with sales teams executives to find new opportunities.
  • Providing highest level of product knowledge, insights, and sales support to help drive successful sales initiatives.
  • Serving as a mentor and trainer to lower level roles or when onboarding new hires.
