About The Position

The Vendor & Quality Ops Support role monitors vendors deliveries across the company, supporting quality-driven projects and meticulously tracking and analyzing vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), arbitrations and data to identify trends and escalate issues proactively. The role ensures strict adherence to established metrics and standards through audits, comprehensive reporting, and collaborative engagement with suppliers. Additionally, this role provides essential operational support, offering solutions related to processes, workflows, documentation, and internal tools, as well as assisting with vendor capacity communication and tool troubleshooting to ensure efficient project execution and continuous improvement across all localization efforts.

Requirements

  • This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.
  • The choice of shifts are: 5AM-1:30PM, 11:30AM-8:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Maintain localization quality frameworks, workflows, processes, and metrics to support scalable operations.
  • Track, analyze, and verify linguistic and non-linguistic quality and operational KPIs and arbitrations for vendors, identifying trends, escalating issues, and ensuring data-driven improvements and reporting.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control and localization labs documentation.
  • Support the gathering of feedback and requirements from vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize quality control processes, workflows, and tooling, establishing effective feedback loops for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct and support supplier quality audits, manage quality arbitration processes, and facilitate vendor KPI reviews.
  • Manage vendor onboarding/offboarding processes and oversee vendor capacity communications.
  • Provide operational support for globalization vendor resources, including tool troubleshooting and addressing inquiries from producers and Language Leads.
  • Test and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for both quality-related and vendor-related tool enhancements and features.
  • Assist in planning and implementing quality evaluation and language services projects, managing project tasks, deliverables, and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, preparing support documentation, filing radar when needed, and engaging with stakeholders on project details and deliverables.
  • Create and manage tasks within internal tracking systems.
  • Co-host and participate in meetings related to vendor operations management.
