About The Position
Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a Vending Service Technician to perform complete service calls for all assigned work orders each day in the Effingham, IL and surrounding areas. This role involves responding promptly to emergency service requests, installing, removing, and replacing vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment. The technician will also be responsible for completing equipment tags, verifying equipment operation, and maintaining accurate inventory records for parts.
Requirements
- Valid Class D license
- Valid DOT Certificate
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid work ethic
- Ability to repeatedly lift 25 pounds or more
- Must live in or near the Effingham, IL area
- Must be able to obtain a Class C NON CDL Drivers License
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with small engines is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete service calls for all assigned work orders each day.
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests dispatched by Customer Service.
- Install, remove, and replace vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment as assigned by the Vending Service Manager.
- Complete equipment tags documenting the condition of all equipment returned to the Marion Service Department.
- Verify that each piece of equipment is operating properly before closing the work order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for vending and dispensing parts issued.
