About The Position

Capitol Coffee Systems is seeking a Micro Market and Vending Delivery Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering products to designated customers along an established delivery route, Sunday through Thursday, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. While the start time is flexible, 8-hour workdays are required. The company is a family-owned business with over forty years of experience servicing the Raleigh/Durham area, committed to providing quality products and superior customer service.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
Displays ability and willingness to make decisions.

Observe safety and security procedures.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

Drives truck and delivers items such as chips, soft drinks, bottled water, fresh foods, snacks, candy, etc., to businesses.
Manages inventory of markets and vending machines.
Puts away and rotates all stock.
Ensures each market and vending machine is fully faced before leaving.
Keeps and maintains a cleaning kit to perform daily cleaning as required.
Cleans and maintains equipment.
Troubleshoots and makes minor equipment repairs if necessary.
Removes spoiled fresh items at the end of each week or when expiration date will occur before the next scheduled visit.
Informs customers of new products or services.
Posts marketing materials correctly and professionally in markets.
Listens to and resolves service complaints, reporting all back to the manager.
Loads truck the day before delivery.
