About The Position

Imperial is hiring an entry-level Refrigeration & Maintenance Technician to service vending machines and related equipment in Oklahoma City. The role is intended for someone with basic refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical training who wants to build a long-term career. Previous years of experience are not required; the company provides hands-on training, tools, and support. The job includes local travel to client locations in a company vehicle and work in varied environments, including a non-climate-controlled shop. The schedule is full-time, day shift, with participation in an on-call rotation that may include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations to service equipment and perform installations.
• Integrity, innovation, responsibility, growth orientation, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional client interactions in varied environments.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 or more pounds.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle for daily travel between client locations.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Basic refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical training.
• Background in small appliance repair or electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Attend service calls to diagnose and repair issues.
• Set up machines and ensure they are working properly.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain client relationships by providing excellent service.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Maintain parts and tool inventories.
• Use tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts; lift equipment and other items.
• Drive a company vehicle between client locations for service and installations.
