About The Position

Twin Falls Subaru is hiring a bilingual salesperson, and the job is exactly what it sounds like. You help people find the right Subaru, or used car, and take care of them from the first hello to the day they drive off the lot. The one thing that sets this role apart: you need to do all of it in both English and Spanish. A big part of our community speaks Spanish, and those customers deserve a salesperson who can talk cars with them in their own language. If you light up around people, you know your way around a vehicle (or you learn fast), and you can switch between English and Spanish without missing a beat, keep reading.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English. Speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Carry a valid driver's license with a clean record

  • Know cars, or care enough to learn the product fast and get it right
  • Communicate clearly and honestly (a lot of this job is listening, not talking)
  • Stay organized and follow up without being chased
  • Take a "no" in stride and keep a good attitude
  • Hold themselves to a high standard of integrity. In a town this size, your reputation travels.
  • Backgrounds that tend to do well here: Retail, restaurant, or any job where you took care of people and sold something
  • Bilingual customer service or call center work
  • Previous auto sales, of course
  • Anyone who has built a loyal following or a book of repeat customers

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers on the lot and online, in English or Spanish, and making them feel at home from the first minute
  • Listening first. Figuring out what someone actually needs before you ever talk price.
  • Running a thorough needs analysis with each customer so you can match them to the most suitable options, then explaining the trims, features, and the Subaru difference in plain language, in whichever language they are most comfortable with
  • Taking folks on test drives and letting the car do some of the talking
  • Working the numbers honestly, laying out the options, and helping customers get to a "yes" they feel good about
  • Being the bridge for Spanish-speaking customers through the whole process, including paperwork and the handoff to finance, so nothing gets lost in translation
  • Following up with previous guests, because the best salespeople build a book of business, not just a single sale
  • Hitting your monthly sales goals and keeping your customer satisfaction (CSI) scores high
