Requirements

  • Hospitality and guest service oriented.
  • Previous experience in Food and Beverage, In-Room Dining, Room Service, or restaurant service, preferably.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations effectively and professionally.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to carry trays, push service carts, and remain standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of luxury hospitality.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as operational needs require.
  • Full command of Spanish and English languages (bilingual).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and attend to guests in a cordial, professional, and courteous manner, anticipating and responding to their needs to ensure an exceptional service experience.
  • Take, deliver, and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently in rooms and designated hotel areas.
  • Demonstrate a complete knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, accompaniments, and beverage options.
  • Answer guest questions about the menu and offer recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Follow established service standards and procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain service stations clean, stocked, and ready for operation.
  • Verify that assigned stations, equipment, and service areas are properly stocked and in optimal condition before, during, and after service.
  • Properly use the tools and equipment necessary for service, including trays, order pads, corkscrews, and other related utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels and promptly communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor.
  • Maintain the security and proper storage of liquors, wines, beers, beverages, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform cashier duties accurately, including processing payments, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies, and safeguarding assigned funds.
  • Complete opening and closing tasks according to department procedures.
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, quality, and brand standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, immediately reporting accidents, injuries, hazards, or unsafe working conditions.
  • Complete all required training and certifications for the position.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments, collaborating to achieve common team goals.
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform at all times, protecting the confidentiality of company and guest information.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks and responsibilities assigned by management or supervision.
