About The Position

Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is seeking a Vehicle Wrap Installer to join their team. The Vehicle Wrap Installer is responsible for measuring, cutting, laminating, and applying vinyl graphics and striping to custom EMS modules, ensuring a consistent, professional, and defect-free finish on every unit. This role is crucial as every vehicle built goes to a first responder counting on it. The position emphasizes attention to detail, process adherence, and quality ownership.

Requirements

Vehicle Wrap Installer I: No prior graphics installation experience required; willingness to learn material handling and application fundamentals. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately in a production environment; basic manual dexterity required.
Vehicle Wrap Installer II: 1–3 years of vinyl or graphics installation experience in a manufacturing or vehicle customization environment. Demonstrated ability to measure, cut, and apply vinyl material to a repeatable quality standard with periodic supervisory review.
Vehicle Wrap Installer III: 3–5 years of graphics installation experience; capable of performing full installs independently to a defect-free standard. Proficiency in wet-application technique, complex layout alignment, and finished-unit QC.
Vehicle Wrap Installer IV: 5+ years of graphics installation experience with demonstrated mastery of material handling, complex installs, and quality ownership. Proven ability to mentor and develop junior installers; serves as the technical escalation point for the work center.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in specialty-vehicle manufacturing, sign and graphics production, or a related production environment.
Vinyl/graphics installation certification a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

Pulls the job ticket, reviews the blueprint or photo, and verifies measurements on the unit before a single cut is made.
Measures and cuts کرسکن and vinyl material to specification using a rotary cutter, ensuring accurate dimensions and clean edges.
Executes layout, position, and alignment of cut graphics and stripe on the vehicle with a tape measure and squeegee, referencing the mockup.
Applies wet-application technique when required, ensuring optimal positioning before the vinyl sets.
Inspects every completed install against the mockup and quality standard, cleans up adhesive residue and materials, and signs off before the unit moves downstream.
Assists the Paint department with buffing, detail wipe-down, and unit cleanup as needed to keep production moving.
Coaches Level I–III installers on technique, precision, and quality standards (Level IV).
Keeps the workspace organized, tools clean, and PPE on throughout the shift.
