About The Position

Applus+ IDIADA is seeking Driver Operators to gather data according to customer specifications across North America and document observations clearly and in detail using a Data Acquisition system. The role involves driving and operating vehicles along predefined routes across varied terrain and weather conditions, carrying out vehicle inspections before and after shifts, and supporting test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment. This project is expected to last 4–5 months, with consecutive projects thereafter. The work location is Adelanto, California.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Five years of licensed driving experience.
Current valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for a minimum of three years.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours and weekends.
Ability to meet workplace health and safety requirements and practices.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive passenger vehicles for up to eight hours a day.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with ADAS features is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
Drive and operate vehicles on predefined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
Inspect vehicles before and after shifts.
Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
Drive safely and follow traffic regulations.
Follow instructions provided by the project manager.
Complete daily reporting activities and other reports when required by the program manager.
Maintain documentation with utmost confidentiality.
Support data acquisition and use appropriate tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
Support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment.
