About The Position

Applus+ IDIADA is seeking Driver Operators to support vehicle testing in Adelanto, California. The role involves driving vehicles across North America on predefined routes and varied terrain and in different weather conditions, gathering data to customer specifications, and documenting observations through a Data Acquisition system. The project is expected to last 4–5 months, with consecutive projects thereafter. The position requires outdoor work, a flexible schedule, and the ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 5 years of licensed driving experience.
Current valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, and weekends.
Ability to meet workplace health and safety requirements and practices.
Physical ability to support test preparation and execution outdoors.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive passenger vehicles for up to 8 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with ADAS features is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle driving services in accordance with customer specifications.
Drive and operate vehicles on predefined routes across varied terrain and weather conditions.
Inspect vehicles before and after shifts as part of test preparation and completion.
Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
Drive safely and follow traffic regulations.
Follow instructions from the project manager.
Complete daily and program-required reports.
Maintain all documentation confidentially.
Support data acquisition and use appropriate tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
Perform other related duties as needed to meet company needs.
