About The Position

Applus+ IDIADA is seeking Driver Operators to support vehicle testing and data acquisition. The role involves driving vehicles across North America on predefined routes and varied terrain and in different weather conditions, following customer specifications. Drivers collect and document data and observations using data acquisition systems, and help ensure accurate retrieval and tagging of objects, obstacles, and anomalies. The project is expected to last 4–5 months, with consecutive projects afterward. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
• Physically able to support test preparation and execution outdoors.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to drive passenger vehicles for up to 8 hours a day.
• Meet workplace health and safety requirements and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with ADAS features is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle driving services in accordance with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles on predefined routes across varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Inspect vehicles before and after shifts.
• Operate data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations.
• Follow instructions from the project manager.
• Complete daily reports and other reporting as required by the program manager.
• Keep all documentation confidential.
• Support data acquisition and use appropriate tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
