Performs a variety of routine, as well as non-routine, duties related to the Clerk & Recorder's Office. This position works under the direction of the Clerk & Recorder Supervisor-Vehicle Registration and has no supervisory responsibilities. The role involves maintaining confidentiality, generating correspondence, operating computers and databases, working with other agencies, verifying transaction accuracy, staying current on laws and procedures for vehicle registration and titling, completing training modules, interacting professionally with staff and the public, operating office equipment, maintaining regular attendance, answering phones and public inquiries, being a team player, traveling for training, maintaining and securing a cash drawer, reviewing vehicle registration and titling documents for accuracy and completion, preparing account analyses, entering data accurately, performing title and registration transactions with minimal supervision, verifying documentation and signatures, navigating various websites, being self-motivated to improve skills and job knowledge, and performing other required duties in the Office of the County Clerk and Recorder.
