About The Position

This role is responsible for organizing and moving vehicles within an assigned area to ensure efficient operations and safety. The coordinator will review daily work assignments, identify vehicles needing movement, and ensure they are relocated correctly. They will also be responsible for applying labels, communicating with supervisors about inventory, and upholding company values and safety standards. This is a part-time position with no remote option, requiring the employee to work at a specified Cox location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Basic technology skills such as, but not limited to: using Microsoft Outlook for emails, using mobile devices, and using two-way radios.
  • Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk long distances.
  • Clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic mechanical skills such as, but not limited to: jump starting a car, adding air to a tire, and identifying fuel level in a car.

Responsibilities

  • Keep vehicles organized and parked in the correct locations within your assigned area.
  • Review daily work information from supervisors and company systems to determine which vehicles need to be moved and where they should go.
  • Help improve safety and efficiency by identifying better ways to move and organize vehicles.
  • Move vehicles safely to the correct locations so work can be completed efficiently and unnecessary vehicle moves are avoided.
  • Check that vehicles can be driven safely. Report vehicles that cannot be driven and arrange for service or towing when needed.
  • Apply sale and routing labels to vehicles to ensure they can be easily identified and sent to the correct destination.
  • Communicate with supervisors, crew leaders, and managers about vehicle inventory levels and help determine movement priorities.
  • Demonstrate company values by treating customers and coworkers with professionalism and respect.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to workplace conduct and customer interactions.
  • Follow all safety rules and serve as a positive example of safe work practices.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
