About The Position

This position involves fueling transit coaches and performing other servicing duties such as checking and dispensing oil, coolant, and transmission fluid. Responsibilities also include sweeping and cleaning the interior and exterior of buses, buildings, offices, and houses, as well as moving vehicles to be serviced. The Vehicle Maintenance department operates on several shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a Class B WA State CDL & passenger endorsement – air brake restriction removed within 120 days of hire.
  • Work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays and any shift.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.
  • Must possess a valid WA State Driver’s license and have excellent driving record.
  • High-school graduation
  • Six (6) months experience servicing and cleaning vehicles and buildings, offices, houses, etc.

  • Fueling transit coaches

  • Moving vehicles to be serviced
  • Check power steering fluid leaks and tire pressure
  • Add air to tires
  • Provide roadside service
  • Complete maintenance records
