About The Position

This position involves maintaining, repairing, and constructing buildings, fences, facilities, roads, trails, pedestrian bridges, and signage to ensure safe and enjoyable recreational opportunities for the public. The role also includes proactively and sustainably maintaining equipment fleets, assisting in regional weed control efforts, habitat improvement on Wildlife Management Areas, general maintenance of Fishing Access Sites, and consistent general maintenance at regional State Parks. Regional and site-specific tasks may exist, and other duties may be assigned. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel, are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency.
Three years of job-related experience.
Good health and physical condition.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to work with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the construction trades with an emphasis on natural and recreational resources.
