About The Position

Responsible for the pickup of soiled linen and the delivery of clean linen to all homes and program areas on campus; deliver incontinent products to all homes on campus, assist with the sorting and folding of soiled and clean linens as needed. Wash and sanitize laundry carts and the soiled linen room. Keep vehicle clean and sanitary at all times. Performs additional duties as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess necessary licenses or certifications to operate assigned types of vehicles or equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of vehicle utilized in performance of daily tasks
• Ability to perform pre-operational check of vehicles/equipment
• Ability to recognize emergency situations and follow appropriate procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable traffic laws and other established regulatory requirements for daily task
• Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
