About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Detailer to work in its vehicle-detailing operation. The company seeks a self-motivated candidate who is willing to learn and has good time-management skills. This is not an entry-level position. Compensation is hourly or flat rate depending on experience, with the posting listing $20–$23 per flat rate.

The role involves detailing new and used vehicles and documenting completed work according to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines. Work is primarily indoors in a shop environment. The required schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekend or after-hours work may be available depending on work available.

Requirements

• At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
• Good driving record and valid driver license.
• Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash, polish, and wax new and used vehicles.
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors.
• Clean and polish vehicle glass.
• Clean engine compartments.
• Touch up chipped surfaces and paint imperfections.
• Chemically treat tires, vinyl, and other surfaces as needed.
• Document completed work according to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines.
