About The Position

Parkline Motors is looking for a skilled Detailer to prepare vehicles for sale at its dealership. The role ensures each vehicle meets dealership presentation standards before it is photographed, advertised, or presented to customers. The position suits someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can keep pace in a high-volume dealership environment where vehicles move through the process quickly.

Work is performed in a dealership lot and shop environment, with exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying weather conditions. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8-hour shifts. The schedule may include Monday through Saturday depending on dealership needs. Pay is $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet dealership quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to meet daily production expectations and adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening as required by state law.

Nice To Haves

• Previous detailing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vehicle interiors, exteriors, and engine bays across a variety of vehicle types.
• Operate detailing equipment, including steamers, pressure washers, vacuums, air hoses, and related tools.
• Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative products to bring vehicles up to dealership standards.
• Prepare vehicles quickly and consistently to support dealership sales and inventory turnover.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles around the lot as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop area throughout the day.
• Clean work areas and store equipment at the end of each shift.
