Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
About The Position
Tim Moran Auto Group is looking for a motivated, competitive person to join our team. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring vehicles for the Tim Moran Auto Group inventory. Day-to-day tasks include market research to identify potential acquisitions, vehicles being offered for sale by private owners, evaluating and negotiating purchase terms, managing acquisition programs, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Collaboration with other departments to align acquisition strategies with each dealerships goals is also part of this role. You won't be calling random people trying to sell them something. You'll be contacting people who have already listed their vehicle for sale on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist. They already want to sell- the opportunity is to show them why selling to Tim Moran Auto Group will be faster, easier, and more convenient.

Responsibilities
- Contact sellers by phone, text, and online messaging.
- Identify vehicles that fit our dealership's inventory needs.
- Build rapport and explain the advantages of selling directly our Vehicle Buy Center.
- Set appointments for sellers to bring their vehicles in for a quick appraisal.
- Follow-up with potential sellers.
- Work with management to negotiate and complete vehicle purchases.
- Build and manage your own pipeline of vehicle opportunities.
- Work toward aggressive daily and monthly acquisition goals.
