About The Position

Dublin Nissan-Infiniti is seeking motivated and competitive individuals to join their team as Vehicle Acquisition Specialists. This role focuses on acquiring vehicles from private owners for the dealership, rather than traditional car sales. The specialist will identify, contact, and facilitate the purchase of vehicles directly from sellers on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, offering a convenient selling process to the dealership.

Responsibilities

Search Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other online sources for vehicles offered by private-party sellers.
Contact sellers by phone, text, and online messaging.
Identify vehicles that fit the dealership’s inventory needs.
Build rapport and explain the advantages of selling directly to the dealership.
Set appointments for sellers to bring their vehicles in for appraisal.
Follow up consistently with potential sellers.
Work with management to negotiate and complete vehicle purchases.
Build and manage your own pipeline of vehicle opportunities.
Work toward aggressive daily and monthly acquisition goals.
