VDC Senior Lead Coordinator

About The Position

Responsible for developing comprehensive 3D models and detailed designs using Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and methodologies. The role combines technical expertise in design software, knowledge of construction processes, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure designs are accurately represented and project components are properly coordinated.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in Revit, SysQue, and Navisworks.
Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant technical experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, periodic overtime, and overnight travel as needed.
Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including extended sitting and computer use, occasional light lifting and carrying, and repetitive hand, wrist, and elbow motions.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive 3D models and detailed designs using VDC tools and methodologies.
Populate and coordinate models using Revit and SysQue according to specifications, company standards, and Plumbing/Mechanical codes.
Perform clash detection using Navisworks for the company’s trades and guide other trades toward the desired outcome.
Represent the role’s systems and/or lead coordination meetings for all trade partners on large projects.
Communicate with internal team members to obtain missing information needed to complete coordination.
Comply with federal and state laws and regulations and Company rules.
Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Perform other job-related activities requested by the immediate supervisor.
