Senior VDC Manager

Skanska USA•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Senior VDC Manager. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a company that builds things that matter and values its team. We are proud to share our culture of diversity and inclusion. Our work makes a clear contribution to society and the environment around us. We build in many different verticals. Whether we are building schools to provide inspiring spaces for learning, roads to connect communities, or hospitals to care for patients, it all contributes to our purpose – we build for a better society. Skanska's values —Be Better Together, Act Ethically and Transparently, Commit to Customer, and Care for Life—are deeply engrained in how we work, which is why our values support and drive our D&I efforts. The Senior VDC Manager leads and scales digital construction delivery across major building project portfolios. In this senior, cross-functional role you will define and operationalize corporate and project-level VDC strategy, govern model quality and data standards, and ensure model-driven workflows directly improve safety, schedule predictability, cost control, and constructability. You will be the primary technical advisor to project and regional leadership on model-based planning, prefabrication, reality capture, and digital handover—translating advanced digital capabilities into measurable field outcomes. Your work will span preconstruction through turnover, integrating design teams, trade partners, operations, estimating, project controls, and IT to deliver federated models, 4D/5D simulations, logistics and installation sequencing, and verified as-built documentation. You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives, pilot emerging technologies (automation, AI-assisted model validation, digital twins), and build VDC capability across the organization through coaching, standards, and governance.
