Vascular Technologist - Ultrasound

About The Position

In a laboratory, patient care unit, and/or surgical setting, the Vascular Technologist performs noninvasive diagnostic vascular studies using ultrasound imaging and non-imaging physiological instrumentation. The role requires writing preliminary reports for placement in the electronic medical chart immediately after each exam and presenting diagnostic findings to referring healthcare providers. The position may also involve working at and traveling between Swedish Health Services hospitals and clinics. Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a vascular ultrasound training program accredited by the American Medical Association – Committee on Allied Health Education (AMA-CAHEA).
National Registered Vascular Technologist certification upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
Six months of internship in vascular scanning experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Vascular Ultrasound, or equivalent education/experience.
Two years of vascular scanning experience.
