About The Position

Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsible for daily operations of the vascular laboratory, including performing high-quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations involving disorders affecting the vascular systems, providing accurate medical descriptions and preliminary interpretations for physician review, and operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment.

Requirements

• Hold either ARRT Sonography and Vascular Sonography certifications (RT(S), RT(VS)) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a Northside-approved resuscitation certifying body.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound or vascular technology program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist.
• Previous experience with extracranial cerebrovascular, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial, and visceral exams.
