About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves providing 24-hour call coverage in an inpatient setting at a Level II trauma center. The coverage period is from October 7, 2026, ongoing, with specific shifts needed from October 7-11. The surgeon will be responsible for managing adult and geriatric patients, performing abdominal open/endovascular procedures, and treating vascular trauma. Collaboration with the existing surgical team and adherence to EMR training are also required.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
- Active CO license or IMLC
- Active DEA
- Clean record
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for vascular surgery including surgical treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma
- Perform abdominal open and endovascular procedures
- Manage adult and geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
- Collaborate with existing surgical team during call shifts
- Adhere to all EMR training and credentialing requirements
