About The Position
Join the Detroit Medical Center Heart & Vascular team and play a key role in expanding vascular surgery coverage across one of Southeast Michigan’s leading academic healthcare systems. You will practice within an established multidisciplinary program based in the Heart Hospital while serving multiple DMC campuses. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of surgery, clinic, inpatient care, and teaching responsibilities alongside fellows and residents. With strong institutional support and a growing regional need, you can make an immediate impact on patient care and program development.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active Michigan medical license, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities
- Practice within an established multidisciplinary program based in the Heart Hospital while serving multiple DMC campuses.
- Provide a balanced mix of surgery, clinic, inpatient care, and teaching responsibilities alongside fellows and residents.
- Conduct clinic at Sinai-Grace Hospital at least one day per week.
- Conduct clinic at the Heart Hospital one day per week.
- Participate in daily hospital rounds.
- Teach and supervise fellows and residents.
- Provide coverage across three campuses.
- Respond to consults, surgeries, and inpatient rounding during call shifts.
